Meet the Pastor
Pastor Stephen Passmore
Stephen Passmore came from England to be Pastor of Prairie Baptist Church at the end of October 2011. A graduate of Spurgeon's College in London, Pastor Stephen was called to full time ministry in 1984. He has pastored churches in the UK, USA and Norway, and has undertaken various mission trips to other countries as well.
He is passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and what Christ can do in a person's life, and he is passionate too about the Church of Jesus Christ, and the need for Christ to have central place in His church. His focus in ministry remains centered on God's Word, prayer, local and global missions and discipleship. His motto for life and ministry is 'Loving God, Loving Others, Serving God, Serving Others'.
He has been married to his wife Margaret since 1979, and has three married children and two grandchildren.
